Compulsory Basic Training
This course consists of one full day training both on site and road riding. The cost of bike hire, equipment hire, fuel and insurance is included.
CBT is a course taken on a 125cc Motorcycle (if over 17 years of age, or a 50cc machine if 16 years of age). You must have a provisional of full car licence.
If the candidate is successful, he or she will be issued with a DL196 certificate in the knowledge that they are a competent rider. This certificate lasts for two years, You must have this certificate in order to take any of the licences explained on the following pages.
